All our ducks are reared in the beautiful French countryside They are raised on farms operated by our 560 farmers, forming a cooperative in the South-West and the Vendée in particular, guaranteeing you the best products, the result of our own and our farmers’ expertise, and the fruit of a fair distribution of value.
100% French grain based feed
The diets of our ducks also include the various insects they unearth in their runs.
Local feed is always preferred
Since 2020, 80% of our feed is locally sourced, and 100% of our grain is French in origin. In addition, we manage feed production. We produce our own feed in the South-West through our “Sud-Ouest Aliment” subsidiary. Our feed is GM free.

What do our ducks eat?
All our farmers are committed to the PalmiGconfiance process, which involves 7 main commitments around animal comfort, feed etc.
This is a voluntary commitment, and part of an ethical business approach through which farmers express their desire for transparency and continuous improvement.
The commitments include: Animal comfort: to guarantee sufficient space and a comfortable environment, enabling them to lie down, move around freely and not suffer from excessive heat or cold.
